“I’ve Been Wrong Before” Dusty Springfield Cilla Black…My Fantasy Duet!
‘No copyright infringement intended…just my tribute to 2 amazing singers and a magnificent song.’]
‘Dusty’s MD, Ivor Raymonde, recalled in 1968 that ‘When we’d finished the recording, Dusty rushed out of the studio for some reason or other and I popped out to see if the recording had gone well. And there was Dusty with all her famous mascara trickling down her cheeks. She’d really been very, very moved by the lyric, which really is very beautiful. And it had just broken her up completely. That to me is the sign of a fabulous artist.’ -The Complete Dusty Springfield
